More About Mona Amin

We all have our own stories. Some are of resilience and how we overcame. Some are of tragedy and how we can’t move on. At the end of the day, I think each of us wants to be loved and accepted just for who we are. No matter what your story is, I admire your courage for seeking the support that you need.

I see life like the foundation of a house. As we walk through life, the foundation forms cracks, some are large and some are small. My goal is to help you mend these cracks so you can feel whole and learn strategies to repair the foundation before the cracks grow.

My approach is centered on you. I make every effort to ensure you feel heard and validated in a non-judgmental space. I am direct and nurturing…assertive and funny…knowledgeable and collaborative. My goal for us is to develop a therapeutic relationship with you where you feel like you can be completely honest and recognize the fact that how I treat you is how you deserve to be treated in all your relationships.

I am Gottman Level 1 trained and have worked with individuals, couples, and groups. I have gained experience helping couples navigate life cycle transitions, foster intimacy, and cultivate a deeper bond. I have provided support to individuals with depression, anxiety, identity, attachment, and confidence issues.

When I’m not providing care to my clients, I am usually with my partner and three wonderful kids. We love to go on international excursions to discover new cultures and places. I also love to cook, dance, entertain friends, and eat.
