More About Lindsey Wittenhagen

I’m Lindsey Wittenhagen, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Austin, Texas. I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can be fully yourself—honest, understood, and supported without judgment. With more than 15 years of experience in mental health, advocacy, counseling, and community support, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people through some of life’s most difficult and complicated moments.

My approach is warm, practical, strengths-based, and solution-focused. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Radical Acceptance, and other evidence-based approaches to help clients better understand themselves, navigate challenges, and create meaningful change. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and I take the time to understand the person behind the circumstances rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach.

I have a particular passion for working with women with ADHD, especially those who are navigating the unique challenges that can come with ADHD in adulthood. Together, we can explore executive functioning, relationships, work, self-esteem, overwhelm, and the many ways ADHD can impact daily life. My goal is to help you move away from shame and frustration and toward greater self-understanding, confidence, and practical strategies that actually fit the way your brain works.

My professional background has also given me experience supporting individuals through relationship challenges, family and domestic abuse dynamics, trauma, and other difficult life experiences. I work with individual adults and couples, helping clients better understand themselves, improve communication, navigate conflict, and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

Whether you’re navigating a challenging season on your own, trying to better understand your ADHD, or working to strengthen your relationship with your partner, you don’t have to figure it all out alone. I would be honored to listen, support you, and help you identify what’s getting in the way. Together, we can build practical tools for navigating life and relationships while working toward greater balance, connection, and confidence.

I offer in-person therapy in Austin and online therapy throughout Texas, making it easier to access support in a way that works for you. If you think we might be a good fit, I’d love to hear from you.
