If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or simply tired of trying to figure everything out on your own, therapy can be a place to finally exhale. Maybe you’re struggling with relationship conflicts, having a hard time communicating what you need, navigating a major life change, or feeling like your emotions are sometimes running the show. Whatever brings you here, you don’t have to have it all figured out before you begin.
Therapy with me is a space where you can be honest, candid, frustrated, hopeful, and everything in between. Some conversations may get heavy. There may be tears. But there will also be laughter, moments of “aha,” and plenty of opportunities to celebrate your growth along the way. I believe therapy can be both meaningful and enjoyable, and that you shouldn’t have to leave your personality at the door.
My work focuses on emotional regulation, life transitions, relationship conflicts, effective communication, and substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns. I believe in meeting people where they are while also being honest enough to challenge them when needed. You can expect compassion without judgment, encouragement without sugarcoating, and a therapist who will genuinely be in your corner. As one client put it, “She’s always gonna keep it a hunnit bands with you, and she’ll never turn a blind eye.” To me, that means being someone who can sit with you through the hard moments while still believing in your ability to grow beyond them.
I’m a graduate of the Steve Hicks School of Social Work at The University of Texas at Austin and a Licensed Master Social Worker. I’ve worked with people from diverse backgrounds across mental health, higher education, criminal justice, and other behavioral health settings. At the heart of all of that experience is one simple belief: people are more than their struggles, and there is almost always something worth building on.
Outside of therapy, I’m a mom to a high schooler, a jokester, a creative, and a very proud plant mom to 50+ plants. I enjoy hand-knitting, jewel art, doodling, and finding new ways to keep my ever-growing plant family happy. I bring that same curiosity, humor, and genuine care into my work with clients.
If you’re ready to have some real conversations, do some real work, and maybe laugh a little along the way, I’d love to hear from you. Reach out to schedule a session and let’s see if we’re a good fit.
